Worldwide, billions are lost and suffering under oppression, persecution and economic crises. Extraordinary times necessitate extraordinary measures. Will you take up the challenge of continuous, prevailing and travailing prayer for the nations of the world?

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

Pray for the World is a web page to help Christians to pray for the world. Prayer is essential for the advancement of God’s kingdom in this world and the way through which God supplies all our needs.

With this prayer watch we want to engage Christians from all walks of life to come to the throne of God day and night, interceding for the many needs of people all over the world.

This initiative gives you an opportunity to join our online community of Christians globally to intercede for the needs of the world. Everyone laying hold of God in prayer, starts a revolution that will change the world.

A prayer watch for men (married or single)
The name was taken from 1 Chron.12:32: “From (the tribe of) Issachar, 200 chiefs, who know their times and what ought to be done.”

The focus: For men to take spiritual responsibility:

  • to pray as husbands for their wives,
  • to pray as fathers for their children,
  • to pray for their local churches,
  • to pray for their work place and the nation.

We are doing it via a Whatsapp broadcast list. A broadcast list is NOT a chat group. You will receive a short direct message with one prayer topic 5 times a week – less than 60 words.

Join us:

  1. List us as by adding Issachar Watch to your contact list.
  2. Send a Whatsapp to +27829008124 to indicate that you want to receive the Whatsapp messages.
  3. Just give your name and surname and indicate if you want to receive it in Afrikaans or English.

A WhatsApp Prayer Watch with either a national or international prayer focus, will occassionally be launced as the need arises. These specific prayer sessions will be communicated to all subscribers to the WhatsApp group via a WhatsApp message.

These times of intense prayer will last 1-2 days only. Jericho Walls may also alert you to national and international situations that need prayer, without necessarily activating a WhatsApp Prayer Watch. In between these prayer alerts this Prayer Watch will be dormant. The only activity will be the adding of subscribers. Jericho Walls will not respond to any messages sent to this number.
