Following are 30 Scriptures you can pray from your Bible about the person and character of the Lord Jesus. Ask the Holy Spirit to lay them as a foundation of faith in your heart, mind and spirit.
1. Only unique Son, the only begotten God
No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known]. (John 1:18, Amp).
2. Image of God
The gospel is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord. (2 Corinthians 4:3-5).
3. Mediator of the new covenant
Jesus Christ is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:13-15).
4. Immanuel
Jesus Christ is Immanuel, which is translated as “God with us.” (Matthew 1:23).
5. Lamb without blemish
If you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, … knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot. (1 Peter 1:17-21).
6. Passover Lamb
Therefore, purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover Lamb, was sacrificed for us. Therefore, let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (1 Corinthians 5:7-8).
7. Wisdom from God
Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.” (1 Corinthians 1:30-31).
8. Prophet
Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever he says to you. And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people’. (Acts 3:22-26).
9. Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous
If anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. … Now by this, we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. (1 John 2:1-3).
10. The resurrection and the life
Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Christ, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Christ shall never die. (John 11:25-26).

13. God our Saviour, Jesus Christ our Saviour
The kindness and the love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy, He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:4-8).
14. One God and one Mediator
There is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as ransom for all. (1 Timothy 2:5-6).
15. Author of eternal salvation
Having been perfected, He (Jesus Christ) became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. (Hebrews 5:9).
16. Bread of God
The bread of God is He (Jesus Christ) who came down from heaven and gave life to the world. (John 6:33).
17. Power of God, wisdom of God
To those who are called … Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. (1 Corinthians 1:24-25).
18. True Light
Jesus Christ is the true Light that gives light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. (John 1:9-12).
19. Lamb of God
Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. (John 1:29).
20. The Word; All things were made through Him
In the beginning, was the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Word (Jesus Christ) was with God, and the Word (Jesus Christ) was God. He (Jesus Christ) was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. (John 1:1-4).

Jesus Christ, Son of God, is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. (Revelation 1:8).

Jesus Christ is the Holy and the Just One, the Author/Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead. Through faith which comes through Him, Christ grants perfect soundness. (Acts 3:14-16).

Christ is the head of the church, and He is the Saviour of the body (all those called by His Name). (Ephesians 5:23).

Jesus Christ is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. (Revelation 19:13).
