Charles Finney’s went to Rochester, New York, in September 1830. In just six short months, this city would be completely transformed. It was a revival so significant that even, Finney’s harshest critic, would call it, “the greatest work of God, and the greatest revival of religion, that the world has ever seen, in so short a time.”
