All over the Middle East, North, West and East Africa, thousands of Christians are in prison – mostly merely for the fact that they love Jesus and tell people about it.
Many of them are tortured, humiliated and abused in many ways.
Let us pray for them for they are our brothers and sisters:
- That they and their families will know the presence of Jesus, His comfort and his strength in these difficult times.
- That they will receive special grace to endure the isolation. Many are not allowed to receive visitors because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
- That they will soon be tried, acquitted on all false charges and released to be reunited with their families.
- That there will be acceptance of Christian converts and abolition of laws (blasphemy and apostasy laws) that restrict people to become Christians.
