PTAP (Praying Through the Arabian Peninsula) is focusing primarily on the local Arabs of the Arabian Peninsula (AP) which consists of seven countries: Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in their prayer during Ramadan.

Their prayers are based on the Book of Colossians (ESV). They are praying the Word. The whole book of Colossians is read and prayed – one chapter for each of the four weeks of Ramadan.

Col 3:16 – 17 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

  • Thank the Lord that there is unity in the church and that the Word dwells richly in their hearts enabling them to teach and admonish in all wisdom.
  • Pray for more psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to be written by local believers in the AP, that they may all give thanks to God as one body. Help them to exalt the Lord through worship.
  • Ask the Holy Spirit, to raise up talented musicians and composers to glorify the Lord in everything they do.
