RAMADAN 2021
Love Muslims by praying for them!
13 April – 12 May
Ramadan is an annual Muslim observance period of 30 days. Hundreds of thousands of Christians worldwide are engaging in prayer for Muslims during Ramadan. Our prayers are an act of love for Muslims – sharing their burdens, understanding their concerns, and petitioning God on their behalf.
Pray for Muslims to have a revelation of the love of God the Father for them. Ask for them to realise that Jesus Christ shed His blood for them also, so that they, too, can be cleansed from sin, and know God will accept them as His children and be reconciled with them. Pray that they will come to know Jesus Christ – the Well that forever satisfies with Living Water.
We have prepared a 30-day prayer guide for Ramadan. More prayer guides are available from Frontiers, Christian Concern for Muslims, Prayercast and PTAP.
Key beliefs of Muslims
A common wrong understanding is that the God of Christians and Allah of Muslims are the same God, but just a different name. A close view on the central beliefs and pillars of Islam will prove such understanding as fundamentally wrong. Watch testimonies of former Muslims who came to faith in Jesus Christ and let this encourage you to persevere in praying for Muslims.

…God did not send His Son into the world
to condemn the world,
but that the world through Him
might be saved.
John 3:17
Prayer for the Muslim world
This is a prayer prayed in 1923 by Samuel M. Zwemer (1867-1952), a graduate of Hope College, a professor at Princeton and “The Apostle to Islam.”
Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, who has made of one blood all nations and has promised that many shall come from the East and sit down with Abraham in your kingdom: We pray for your prodigal children in Muslim lands who are still afar off, that they may be brought nigh by the blood of Christ. Look upon them in pity, because they are ignorant of your truth.
Take away pride of intellect and blindness of heart, and reveal to them the surpassing beauty and power of your Son, Jesus Christ. Convince them of their sin in rejecting the atonement of the only Saviour. Give moral courage to those who love you, that they may boldly confess your name.
