Mobilising, training and equipping Christians for prayer

With 60 million people now directly impacted by conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa, the region is in a state of instability.

SAT-7 aims to encourage the Christians of the Middle East and North Africa in their faithful witness for Christ and give hope to those disillusioned by the killing and who are looking for a God that they can make sense of.

SAT-7 staff, producers, and television presenters will give detailed, insightful reports from each of SAT-7’s five channels. All presentations will inform how SAT-7 is encouraging believers in the region today despite the turmoil, war, and difficult living conditions.

SAT-7 is in a state of transition – a constant state of transition. TV, video, internet and social media is developing very fast in our world, and organisations like SAT-7 that focuses on spreading the gospel through media, need to constantly change their approach. It is important to remember that the approach will change, not the message.

“When SAT-7 started 20 years ago, it was the right strategy, with the right technology at the right time. But times change – the way in which many people consume video today is changing. For this reason, SAT-7 has analysed the big factors that are affecting our viewers and laid out a five-year strategy to ensure that the ministry stays relevant to their needs,” says Chief Operations Officer Andrew Hart

  • For new and effective strategies to reach people with the gospel through the media.
  • For qualified and knowledgeable people that can make new plans and create new strategies to bring forth the desired outcome.
  • Pray that God will protect them from the evil one.
  • Pray that every employee of SAT-7 will be filled with the Holy Spirit so that they can do their work in the power of the Holy Spirit.
