Something unheard is slowly emerging in some countries. More and more Christians from Muslim Background come out of “hiding” and begin to boldly share their faith – amidst much danger.
This was the case of four Muslim converts in Jordan who were openly baptised. Jordan is still a country where it is illegal for a Muslim to become a Christain.
It is dangerous for converts from a Muslim background to openly confess their commitment to Jesus. They face persecution by the Muslim community and extremist groups, as well as antagonism and rejection from their families.
It is clear that there is an “undercurrent” of Muslims that are increasingly turning to Christ, and this movement is becoming visible.
For the protection of new converts that take bold steps to openly confess their faith.
Pray for them to be filled with the Holy Spirit and with the power of God to share their testimonies.
Pray that they will be wise in how they share the gospel, and how to deal with hostility and persecution.
Thank God for this “eruption” that is emerging amongst Muslims.
